The Art in Quilting

An 8 month quilting series beginning May 5.

We will be exploring different mediums and techniques to help you create your own unique quilt. Techniques include painting, burning, rusting, bleaching and during the summer you can collect flowers from your garden to do flower pounding. Come in to see some of the many samples we have on display in the store.

The new Jo Morton Harmonies have arrived.

A great assortment of prints and colors to add to your growing Jo Morton collection of fabrics. The new book Vintage Journey should be here any day. Also, watch for her new fabric collections Crimson & Clover in July and Stafford County in September.

Caring Hands Project

The Caring Hands Project happens the last Friday of the month and we are especially proud of the accomplishments of this generous group that seems to grow every month.

We have been created over 40 quilts and will be donating them to the Ronald McDonald House. When you donate your time to create a block, or a few, you will receive 15% off your purchase that day. The Fabric Cottage donates all the supplies, as well as providing sewing machines for those who are unable to bring their own.

Machine Service

We are able to service all Bernina sewing machines and sergers.

Basic cleaning and adjustments:

• Sewing Machines $129.95
• Sergers $99.95

Please bring a zigzag foot, bobbin, power cord and foot pedal. Please bring the thread that you usually sew with and a sample if you are having a problem with something. No need to book an appointment, just drop in with your machine.
