My Label New

A service pack for My Label is now available for download from www.berninamylabel.com (click on My Label News).

The service pack includes text corrections, compatibility with Vista and simulation adjustments for the Classic Jacket, Tailored Shirt and Vest. All current My Label customers should be downloading this update.

Caring Hands Project

The Caring Hands Project happens the last Friday of the month and we are especially proud of the accomplishments of this generous group that seems to grow every month.

We have been able to create at least 1 quilt each month and will be donating them to Calgary Hospices. When you donate your time to create a block, or a few, you will receive 15% off your purchase that day. The Fabric Cottage donates all the supplies, as well as providing sewing machines for those who are unable to bring their own. Please call to register for July 25 or August 29.

Machine Service

As of July 1, 2008 we are no longer able to service all types of machines. We will be able to service Bernina machines. We hope to resume servicing all brands late in September. We will let you know as soon as we know.

Basic cleaning and adjustments:

  • Sewing Machines $89.95
  • Sergers $99.95
Please bring a zigzag foot, bobbin, power cord and foot pedal. Do not bring thread, extra feet or accessories. No need to book an appointment, just drop in with your machine.
